Bellarmine to Participate with other Catholic Institutions in 22nd Annual Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice
From November 16-18, 2019, nearly 2,000 individuals, including a delegation from Bellarmine College Preparatory, will gather for the 22nd annual Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in Washington, D.C.
Saints in the City Awards

Last evening, Friday October 25, the Diocese of San Jose held an awards banquet to honor young people nominated by schools and parishes throughout the valley for living their faith and making a difference in the lives of others.
There were several Bellarmine students in attendance who received awards from their parishes. These students are living their faith and exemplifying being men for and with others outside of school.
Each parish wrote a tribute to each honoree.

Bellarmine President’s Award Dinner

Bellarmine President’s Award presented to Frank Fanger in recognition of 25 years of volunteer service.
Bellarmine College Preparatory held its 41st Annual President’s Award Dinner the evening of October 29 at the Samuel A. Liccardo Campus Center. The donor recognition event, attended by 250 guests, culminated with the presentation of the President’s Award, given each year to those who have demonstrated support to Bellarmine in a variety of ways.
BCP MUN at the Model United Nations Conference

On October 26, 2019, our small but effective BCP MUN delegate team participated in the 7th Annual Monterey County High School, Model United Nations Conference, at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies located in Monterey.
On the Committee of UN Habitat, Environmental Effects of Trade Liberalization,
Representing Fiji, James Egbert and Alex Yun were awarded with an Outstanding Representation for their position paper
Bellarmine Theatre Arts presents Coram Boy

San Jose, CA – Bellarmine College Prep Theatre Arts presents Coram Boy. Adapted by Helen Edmundson from the novel by Jamila Gavin, Coram Boy is described as a Dickensian tale of human trafficking, and the salvation of music and faith. In 18th-century England, a slave-trader takes advantage of impoverished parents and young mothers facing unwanted pregnancies.
Strong Performance at Speech & Debate Tournaments
A number of Bells competed in the first Coast Forensic League Speech tournament of the year and the Opening League Debate tournament. Several of our very own Bells were able to earn a Wild Card to the State Qualifying Tournament next March!
