Serving as an Arrupe Ambassador has been a distinct highlight of my Bellarmine experience. I enjoy serving with my classmates—my brothers—as we all work together to welcome and serve both members of our extended community. I serve because I value community: Bellarmine’s culture and tradition stand strong after so many years, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
Now in my senior year, I reflect on how I have grown from being a nervous student at Open House to now being a confident Ambassador in my interactions with strangers and friends alike. To be a man for and with others is to both lead and be led: I grow and develop as a leader through my experiences here, but I learn so much from my peers, my teachers, and everyone in this community. I am grateful that Bellarmine has given me these opportunities to grow and be changed, and I know that I will take the lessons I have learned here and carry them through the challenges and triumphs of my life.
