A Faith That Does Justice
Even in a cursory glance at Bellarmine's mission statement, it is apparent that our purpose extends beyond merely preparing students for college. We seek to help form young men of conscience, competence, and compassion - men for and with others.
Becoming “Men For and With Others”
Our Christian Service Program is inspired by the Gospel message that calls us to love and serve our neighbor, especially the poor. It connects the Ignatian ideals embodied in our philosophy and mission statement to a practical responsibility to work in society for the common good of all and the greater glory of God.
Finding God in All Things
Finding God in all things is rooted in an awareness that God can be found in every place, in every thing, in every one. Our Campus Ministers help students discover "sacred moments" in everyday life and opportunities to encounter God in nature, relationships, and their educational pursuits.
Transforming Hearts and Minds
Our immersion program bridges what a student learns in the classroom with the practice of sharing that knowledge with those most in need. It provides the opportunity for students to be active participants in creating a more just world ... to transform hearts and minds.
