Several Bells Recognized by Local Nonprofit Organization

Several Bellarmine seniors have received recognition from the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators (SCCABE) in the organization’s 31st annual Student Recognition Program.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first year that the ceremony, typically held in early May, was unable to be held.

The event program included a tribute page honoring Mr. Steve Pinkston as he retires from Bellarmine after 40 years of remarkable and significant service to the school and greater community.  The recognition included a special tribute written by alumnus John Hilton ’92.

The Bells recognized by the SCCABE in their respective categories are as follows:

Academic Achievement (3.5+ GPA)
Isaiah Amanuel, Constantijn Cole, Kyle Lewis, Jaden Morgan, Robby Perkins-Arango, Mason Phoenix,
Dominic Sangster, Chris Scales

Student Athlete (3.0+ GPA)
Josiah Ajiake

Fine Arts/Talent (2.5+ GPA)
Josiah Cannon

African-Am. History Awareness
Aizon Henry

Congratulations to these seniors, and to Mr. Pinkston, on receiving this recognition from the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators (www.sccabe.org)
