Several Bellarmine faculty and staff members, along with members of the Jesuit Community, chose to spend the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week by demonstrating their appreciation for seniors on May 4th. Students from the Class of 2020 drove onto campus to pick-up graduation-related items and mementos, including tribute yard signs. Social distancing and health and safety guidelines were strictly adhered to during the process from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This was a wonderful celebratory occasion, and many embraced the Star Wars-day theme given the date (“May the Fourth Be With You”). Students driving on the Hedding Street overpass also were treated to observing the billboard at that location saluting the Bellarmine Class of 2020. The campus-facing billboard will be up through May, and the east-facing side of the sign will be up through June. Go Bells!
