Welcome to Bellarmine Admissions and thank you for your interest in becoming part of a dynamic educational tradition that spans more than 150 years. Founded in 1851 by the Jesuits, Bellarmine is a private, non-profit, fully-accredited, Catholic, independent, all-boys high school. Bellarmine offers many opportunities to grow and develop intellectually, physically, and spiritually, both inside and outside the classroom.

We offer an interesting and challenging academic program that prepares each student to go on to college, with many of our alumni attending some of the finest schools in the country. Students thrive in classes as diverse as A.P. Biology, multiple levels of A.P. Calculus, Comparative Religions, a William Faulkner Seminar, and many levels of ceramics, music, and traditional two-dimensional art.

Outside of the classroom, Bellarmine students enjoy participating in our 13 sports, with 34 total teams. Bellarmine meets with a remarkable amount of success in these athletic endeavors, having won more CCS Titles than any other school. Bellarmine also boasts a thriving Theatre Arts program, one of the most successful Speech and Debate programs in the country, an award-winning yearbook, and a robotics team that was recently rated #2 in the world!

Most importantly, Bellarmine accomplishes all of this in an atmosphere that teaches students to practice generosity - to live up to the challenge of the Jesuit motto of becoming "Men for Others" - students dedicated to the betterment of their world. This devotion to others manifests itself through the thousands of hours of service performed by our students each year, as well as the numerous spiritual retreats and immersion trips our students attend.
